My first day at school
My name is Lily, and I’m so excited because today is my first day of school. I woke up early, had breakfast, and put on my favorite green dress. Then, I grabbed my new backpack, packed with all the supplies I need for this special day. I’m looking forward to learning new things, and I can’t wait to meet my teacher and make some new friends.
When I arrived, the school was huge. There were so many kids everywhere, laughing and playing. I found my classroom and met my teacher, Mrs. Smith. She was really nice and introduced herself with a big smile. I also made a new friend named Emily. We have a lot in common, and we even sat together in class.
I learned a lot of exciting things today. I discovered numbers and letters, and I practiced spelling my name and writing it in my notebook. We also talked about the school rules, like how to be respectful and kind to others. By the end of the day, I felt so proud of everything I had accomplished. I can’t wait to go back tomorrow.
